FEEDING GUIDELINES
Account for the calories coming from treats. Adjust the amount of food to your dog's needs. How? Visit our website. Fresh water should always be available. Serve at room temperature, surplus food can be chilled for up to 2 days. A 5 kg dog needs 1 ¼ - 1 ½ trays, a 10 kg dog needs 2 - 2 ¼ trays, a 20 kg dog needs 3 ¼ - 3 ½ trays, a 30 kg dog needs 4 ½ - 5 trays, a 40 kg dog needs 5 ½ - 6 trays daily. 100 g wet food can be replaced with approx. 25 g of a dry food.
DIET TRANSITION
To change your dog’s food, we recommend a gradual transition to help avoid stomach upsets. Generally, this takes around 7 days, but it is always a good idea to monitor your dog to check that the transition is going well.

To start the transition, introduce the new food as a low proportion of their old – we would recommend a 25% new food to 75% old food ratio - and gradually increase the new-to-old food ratio over ~7 days, until your dog has completely transitioned to the new food. Ensure to monitor your dog’s behaviour and food consumption over this period.

We would recommend a 25% new food to 75% old food ratio for the first few days, and if all the signs are good, moving to 50%/50% after ~4 days, 75%/25% after ~6 days. Finally, move to 100% of new food after 7 or 8 days if your dog continues to respond well and tolerate the new food.

In addition, we would recommend to keep your regular feeding routine, mealtimes and eating areas the same while you are transitioning your dog to their new food. Please talk with your veterinarian if you have any concerns about your dog over this transition.
